All rugs are woven to order by the Beni Ourain cooperative. Production takes 3 to 4 weeks from the moment we confirm your order and receive the deposit. Shipping time is additional and depends on your location — typically 5 to 10 business days worldwide.
Yes — entirely. Every rug is hand-knotted or hand-woven by cooperative members in the Middle Atlas mountains of Morocco. No machines are involved in the weaving process. Each piece is one of a kind, which means minor natural variations in texture and pattern are part of the authenticity.
Yes. Every order is already custom — we do not hold stock. You can specify any size from 60×90 cm to 4×6 m, choose your model (Heavy, Light, or Hanbal), and describe or share images of the pattern and colours you want. Visit our Customize Your Rug page to learn more.
Contact us via the Contact page or through the Customize Your Rug form. Tell us what you are looking for — size, model, pattern ideas, colour preferences — and we will send you a quote within 48 hours. Once you confirm, a 50% deposit starts production.
100% pure Atlas wool — sourced from sheep raised in the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountains of Morocco. The wool is hand-spun and either left in its natural ivory or dyed using traditional plant and mineral pigments. No synthetic fibres, no chemical treatments.
Heavy Rug — Dense hand-knotted pile, 15–25mm. Warm, thick, built to last decades. Ideal for living rooms and bedrooms.
Light Rug — Finer hand-knotted pile, 6–12mm. Lighter, more supple, easier to move. Ideal for dining rooms, hallways, warmer climates.
Hanbal — Traditional Berber flatweave with no pile. Reversible, lightweight, with hand-knotted tassels. Can be used as a rug, throw, or wall hanging.
Because every rug is hand-woven, slight natural variations in pattern, texture, and colour are to be expected. These are not defects — they are the signature of handcraft. We send you photos of your finished rug before shipping so you can see the final result.
Yes. We ship to over 40 countries. Every order is fully tracked and insured. Shipping costs and estimated transit times are provided with your quote before you confirm the order.
Depending on your country, customs duties may apply upon delivery. These fees are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our pricing. We provide all necessary documentation with the shipment to facilitate customs clearance.
Because every rug is made specifically to your order, we do not accept returns unless the product arrives damaged or faulty. We strongly recommend requesting a consultation before ordering and reviewing photos of your rug before it ships. If your rug arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we will resolve it.
